Our Inspiration ❤️
In the year 2016, we learnt about the appalling dog meat trade in China. This revelation had a profound impact on us, and we resolved to take action. Consequently, we adopted two dogs, Hansum (on the right) from the Yulin dog meat festival in China in 2016 and Molly (on the left) from a kill shelter in Romania in 2017.
It is so disheartening to note that many countries lack animal welfare laws, and dogs are subjected to unimaginable cruelty and neglect. For the past seven years, we have been actively raising awareness and funds to support this cause.
Our desire has always been to merge our passion for beauty with our love for dogs.
Liz is a member of Angel’s for Animals Foundation team, a volunteer-run dog rescue organisation.
The bulk of our donations will be directed towards this remarkable charity to aid in the rescue, care, and rehabilitation of dogs rescued in Turkey, as well as their safe rehoming. The foundation has also extended its support to numerous dogs in the United Kingdom, China, and Dubai. Additionally, they provide assistance to courageous Turkish volunteers in Turkey, enabling them to feed, neuter, vaccinate, and provide veterinary care and treatment to street dogs in Turkey
